Should come Monday or Tuesday.

I set up my GameCube on my Sony portable, I use to have it connected to a 20inch LCD toshiba using the red yellow white cables and the picture I thought was really poor.so tonight I set up the Sony portable and GameCube and the picture is miles better, I am using the red yellow white cable leads to one of those adapters you get with Xbox 360 so you can plug into scary socket

Scart is definitely the way to go, I play my gamecube on my 32" LCD TV and the picture really isn't that bad. Making my way through the resident evil series at the moment, but not sure if I can commit upto £30 for RE2 and hope by some miracle I find it for £2 in a charity shop :D

I have res evil 4 but it's got a disc missing and I have another res evil And that's missing another disc. What I have noticed with GameCube if any of the games have any scratches the games don't work , I have about 6 boxless games here and they have small scratches and my GameCube will only play title then come up with clean the disk. I have mario party 5 and it's got a sort of smudge on the disc but I have never seen anything like it , it won't polish out its like a smudge under the plastic.

RGB scart is the way to go. Red/Yellow/White into the scart adapter is just crappy composite over scart. Completely pointless and awful picture quality.

managed to get some more gamecube games today from some more charity shops and on a market bootsale.I got Sonic adventure 2 battle and Wrestle mania XIX for 99p each from british heart foundation and then from Scope charity shop i got Metal gear solid 2 for ps2 for £1.99 and on the market/bootsale i got 18 wheeler and Product number 03 for £1 each, the ones from market the box's are tatty and water damaged but games look in good condition.

I have metal gear game twice now but for £2 i couldn't resist it

does anyone know what's best way to clean gamecube games? i have a motorised disc cleaning machine,it looks like a old cd walkman and it has 2 pads that buff and clean games but it does nothing i got it from a car boot unused but they are on ebay for £20 but its useless.I really need something abit more heavy duty

I have my Dreamcast connected to my 40" Samsung via scart and the picture is clear as anything campared to my PS2 which is connected via the RF cable.

Yeh was pretty sure my gamecube was clearer with SCART than RGB. Meh.

Oneshot, what are you trying to clean off? Scratches?

i need to get up in the loft to find the cube. i spent 65 quid when bought it years back on some crazy rgb import scart cable that uses both ports of multiout on older cubes...looks amazing!

the ps2 on rf is enough to make you cry. i have scart cable i was given....looks brilliant. think its a full rgb job. worth the couple of quid on bay for a scart

Just wondering if anybody on here mods their retro consoles? I just finished modding a v1 Megadrive/Genesis so it actually has composite plugs, with proper L/R stereo and video, i could have added S-Video too, but i'm lazy. :p

I plan to overclock the old girl too with a 10mhz oscillating crystal and some extra circuitry, and i have a bunch of other mods lined up for other consoles... i just have to take possession of said consoles for a reasonable price. :p

Can post pictures if anybody is interested.
