I love that it still has the "people who bought this" bit at the bottom of the auction. That must have taken a lifetime to build that collection. Not sure I would hand over that kind of money via a bank transfer to someone with 0 feedback.

On another not, my Commodore arrived today and it is in spectacular condition. Will get some photos up soon.

my cheap copy of monkey ball 1 for the cube and the mint condition box i won for magical tetris on n64 arrived.something therapeutic about reboxing cart only retro games :)

I collect abit of everything really but I'm a big fan of the N64, it didn't have many games but it did have some gems (as well as some shocking games). This and the megadrive were my childhood consoles so I lots of memories of gaming with mates, none of this online malarkey, 4 controllers, 1 CRT ;)

Over the past two weeks I managed to pick up a Dreamcast and 15 games. The console has no yellowing on it at all, I paid £44.99 for it on eBay as a buy it now.

I managed to pick up Spawn: In the Demon's Hand. This is one of my favourite DC games around, I did however, pay £40 for it, but it is in mint condition!

I also bought Power Stone 1 & 2, Phantasy Star Online 1 and ver 2, Jet Set Radio, Mr Driller, Ready to Rumble, Trickstyle, Tony Hawks 1, Soul Calibur, MSR, Virtua Tennis 1, Star Wars Episode 1 Racer and Crazy Taxi 2.

I bought 14 of them from a collector, whom kept them in fantastic condition, the only game that isn't in great condition is Crazy Taxi 2. I have been eyeing up Shenmue, but they can go for over £40 in some cases, if the condition is good.

Does anyone have any recommendations for other games that I might have missed out on? I pretty much played Phantasy Star non stop when I bought my DC in 2000.

EDIT : Are DC VGA adaptors worth it? I'm currently playing mine on a 40" HDTV via a component cable.

Shenmue is very much worth it, keep an eye on ebay as I ended up with a decent nick set of both for £40 (box bits weren't, on 1 its all tatty and 2 its lost but for £20 each for mint disks I cannot complain).

Get the original crazy taxi as well, much much better than 2. Soul Calibre is a must as is a zombie game that I can't remember the details of right now (a top down arcade game which was great).

Not sure about the VGA cable yet, I want one but I don't know how it will look (though apparently it is the best the dc can get).

Got my posters and bought some cheap £3 frames from wilkinsons

Loved me dreamcast I wish I did not sell it. I had shenmue, crazy taxi and would calibre all great games. I want to play shenmue again quite badly

You can pick them up pretty cheap if you're okay with unboxed. I only paid £25 for mine from a shop and it has absolutely no yellowing. Apart from Shenmue the games are pretty cheap so it wasn't the worst console to sell in terms of having to re-buy.
