Been looking through a few charity shops and a carboot/market today and got a few decent things
there was a guy selling books and i wasnt going to bother having a look on his stall then on the way past he had a little sign games £1 so i grabbed these
i also got this just because i never heard of it but after getting it home it hasnt got the disc in it i always forget to check
i then went to a charity shop and picked these up,they are mint condition and for 50p a game i might just use them for replacement cases.I got a bonus in the driver game because its got Driver 1 and 2 inside and the manuals ect on all the games are untouched
the last thing i got which i am chuffed with is a gameboy colour i seen this a few weeks ago in the same shop but it was £19.99 but i thought it was a little expensive but today they had it at £9.99 so i snapped it up,came with all the things you see in pic, charger ,mag glass and simpsons. It was in a glass case in the shop window like this and i didnt even see a game in the back of it until she got it out for me and i noticed a GOLD game in the gameboy and when i paid for it i had a look once i got outside and it had this in it
Looking to offload an Amiga A500+, accessories, games, Deluxe Paint 3 etc. Can I tempt anybody for twenty quid (collect only from Cambridge) if I were to put it in MM? Would love to keep it but have no room
Deal of the century (well to me anyway), got the games above for the grand total cost of.... a coffee, I had mentioned at work how the PS3 was getting ignored in favour of the Super Nintendo, today one of my work mates turns up with a box containing 9 games including the three above and despite my pointing out he could get some money for them he wouldn't accept anything more than a coffee.
Have been after Super Punch Out since I got the Snes so extremely chuffed atm, the other 6 games were Mario Kart, SF2, Mickey Mania, Donkey Kong Country, Bubsy and Zool all unboxed, I already have the ones I would have any interest in from those so just going to sell them and give the profits to my donator as thanks.
I tried that tactic at work let everyone know your wanting old consoles, lass I work with I told I had went to car boot sale on Sunday looking for old games , she said oh just the other week we cleaned loft and threw a super Nintendo with about ten games out.
Started collecting again, slowly but surely. I had a shed load of stuff in a dedicated retro games room which I unfortunately got rid of 95% of it earlier this year.
Aside from a few bits I got all of it from local ads, didn't touch Ebay this time around. Some absolutely amazing big bundles for dirt cheap - gutted I sold it all off now....
Anyway, here's to the future - picked up mint Doom on the PS1 and nm Pokemon ruby (boxed) on the GBA for £1.50 each in a charity shop today
After a disappointing car boot trip today, only picked up donald duck as PK for 50p, I've gone mad on flebay. There was a very tacky looking dreamcast, loads of resellers asking for crazy prices and the normal sports titles.
I only need 7,8,9 to finish off my final fantasy collection now.
Thou its not retro, I picked up MGS 4 for 6 pounds from shop yesterday and that's finished off my MGS collection.
Wow !! A very nice mint looking Gunstar Heroes there. One of the very best games on the Megadrive I thought.
Treasure really put out some top quality games back in the day. *Pats one of the very best 2D side scrolling beat em ups ever... Guardian Heroes*
