Retro console and games thread

Just got this for a £7.99 including p&p, Item condition:Very Good. I asked the seller if everything was in it and I got the response : mint like new complete :

Here is some more snes love, pickups from a few weeks back. I found an NTSC Killer Instinct on the bay that still had the original shrink wrap on the box and a sealed music CD:cool: I decided to get some box and manual protectors to keep things minty fresh as well, a tad OCD perhaps but those boxes are fragile things!

Not OCD at all mate, i want to do the same for my n64 stuff as the box design means that the manuals and the box are both always at risk of tears n rippage :(

New game! Wish these MVS carts had some artwork on them, not very impressive to show off :p

Still, a great game and a lot more forgiving then Pulstar! I got to the 2nd boss on only 1 credit :D.
Though the constant cries of "Bonus!" get a tad annoying.

Now to order some boxes and artwork.

great stuff Laars

sadly I parted with my SNES a year or more ago
I bought Killer Instinct, it was the PAL version, boxed but no CD
I bet Secret of Mana is the rarer of the two these days, both brilliant games

Some nice games there Larrs888. I loved the killers cuts CD. There's a jungle tune that really sticks in my mind.

I won a snes mini off eBay. Ended up costing me £54 delivered. I'll sell my supercic modded snes to cover the cost of the mini :)

Cool thats a bit cheaper than I got mine for nice one! You can find a PSU at console goods.co.uk or sometimes they pop up on eBay. As I'm sure you know you can't use a PAL snes or even JAP super famicom one because the US SNES is DC power not AC. Good luck with your RGB mod :)

Yeah I had a look on console goods but he's out of stock at the moment. You can use a mega drive 1 psu if you build a adapter. All the parts are available at a certrain electronic retailer so I'll build one in the meantime until the console goods psu comes back in stock.

Just won an auction for a dreamcast. Very happy as I really regret selling mine. Trying to get a VGA cable and winning with bids for soul reaver, shenmue and Ecco. Trying to get everything cheap as poss. The dreamcast has no photo so went for 19 quid inc p and p. Seller claims it is immaculate. Will post pics when I receive it

The Dreamcast has to be my number one all time fave. I remember getting my first one for xmas 2000 with Soul Calibur and Shenmue. AWESOME!!!!

In 2003 I got another console free with a mobile phone deal which I kept unopened until 2 years ago when I started to get back into retro as my original one stopped working properly. Its so nice to have a mint condition dreamcast in 2014. I'm started to build up a nice little collection but only really buy the games I want to play, problem with the DC is that there are so many ha ha ha. The independent scene is awesome with new Dreamcast games still coming out even his year. I need to get a copy of Sturmwind (2013) from Redspot games in the near future me thinks.
