Retro console and games thread

Well if it power on OK each time and does play games occasionally, then I would expect that is your problem. I've never seen a fully 'broken' SNES/NES/MD. They don't make them like the used too :p.

Nice buys bobby. I remember buying tekken 3 when I was 9. Loved that game. Will search for it cheap now :D

Just found a rare collectors demo of tekken 3 for £3.95, super tempted for the rarity alone..

Ah nevermind, NEEDS two players..

It was the demo disk included in the Official PlayStation Magazine for one issue, not what I'd call rare. I think you could play as a couple of the new characters, but you definitely didn't need two players, SP worked fine.

Better off getting the full game.
 
I think i still have that tekken demo lurking somewhere....Black plastic cd case yeah?

My MUSHA repro turned up today I bought of eBay.

I'm really disappointed with it, I was expecting something of at least a decent quality.

Cover was home printed on plain paper, as was the cartridge label. In his other listings for reproduction he states home printed labels an covers. The actual case was an original Sega case but in now way was in "very good" condition, it doesn't even stay closed it's so worn.

Opened a dispute for "not as described" so I should get a full refund and not have to pay to return it.

I'll buy one from China for £4 and print my own label and cover off.

Can't be any worse.

Covers and labels on plain copy paper are as bad as you can get. I really don't know why I bother buying from eBay, most sellers are blind to or exaggerate the condition of nearly every game I've ever bought.

At least the game works and it's awesome playing it on the original hardware rather than through an emulator.

There's a good chance I'll be ordering some stuff from Ali Express as well, maybe even tonight.
