Retro console and games thread

Sounds about right. It is picky one what games but the list that does work is huge!

I will be buying nes pads official ones and thanks to barmy i habe an awesome joystick :)

Musha is a great game!

These are the 3 repo's i own. Printed the covers out myself. I really want to get a Japanese to English translated Bare Knuckle 3 cart.

Retro freak seems a better console than the retron 5. Can handle roms, backs up you carts. Much smaller and doesn't seem to suffer from the issue many retron 5's have in removing carts
 
Right payday on Thursday so will order up 4-5 carts then. Happy to be the guinea pig for us :)

If it works out I shall then hunt down some cheap naff uk games for the cases I guess

Just been reading up on AliExpress.

Seems a safe enough place to buy. From what I've read your money stays in escrow until you're happy with your purchase. Plus you can use PayPal so it shouldn't be a problem.

It also looks like there's a lot of eBay sellers buying stuff through AliExpress and reselling on eBay. Everdrive flash cartridges are half the price compared to eBay.
 
I've not bought from AliExpress before but I order a lot from China through eBay and recently Alibaba and have always been impressed.

The feedback system is reassuring and they offer a buyer protection against late/no delivery, item not as described etc. so I wouldn't hesitate to buy from there. I may order a few myself to try out.
 
It is done.... cart only copies of Probotector and Turtles Hyperstone Heist ordered :)

all for the mind boggling sum of £5.60 posted lol
