A few new arrivals today, particularly happy with the 'D': Director's Cut, very unusual and my favourite 3DO game!

Do you have a working 3DO?

Quite into the more obscure machines.

Not quite as exotic but put my name on a PS1 slim in the local charity shop and a bunch of games for £20. Just waiting to see if it works - they won't sell it to me broken.

Dug out my old Dreamcast collection as someone on here was interested in it. I forgot I had most of it tbh!

The lad who runs the local game pawn shop bought a box full of Dreamcast games at a car boot for £10. A few of them are still wrapped. Great haul.

Nice collection! What games do you have there?

House of the Dead 2 and Lightgun, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure, Soul Calibur, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Chu Chu Rocket! and 22 Demos from Official Dreamcast Magazine. Shenmue is boxed with all 4 disks too.

The console is in pretty much perfect condition as was a warranty replacement for my original one and was only used minimally before being wrapped up and boxed again.

Looking at getting rid of it all as it's gathering dust and would be better in the hands of a collector really :)

Plenty of those in here :D

Interesting to see it was actually called D's Diner on the 3DO in Japan. I have the Japanese Saturn version and the name was all in Japanese (aside from the D part), think in our alphabet it was D No Shokutaku which translates to something like Table of D, apparently.

Is there much different in the director's cut? I see it clearly has at least 3 discs, whereas the Saturn version (and I presume original 3DO) has only 2.

Looking to get a copy of D2 for the Dreamcast as I never played it back in the day but damn, it's expensive for a US version - few copies up on that auction site for around 50 quid.

Shouldn't have to pay more than about £10 for D2. I get my imports from an auction site store called Yamatoku, great for snagging bargains, particularly if you buy 2-3 games at same time to cut delivery costs down.

I know D: Director's cut has quite a number of scenes that were either missing or have been extended from the original, plus I believe the mini-CD is the game's OST by Kenji Eno.

The original Japanese release is just known as D: No Shokutaku, it seems to have adopted the D's Diner name later, it was a very popular game in Japan, particularly on Saturn
