It's asking for the charger.

I suspect a regular iPad or iPhone charger will work, but I got one of these, so useful these days with so many things running on USB power.

How often do you guys sit down and play on an old game/system? I haven't really used any of mine for a while just due to it being upstairs and out the way a bit! Wish I could justify a set up in the living room! I'm going to start making efforts to play up there more often!

Hoping someone can help. I have been offered a Bang & Olufsen 7702 which I want to use for some retro gaming. I love the look but want to know what inputs it has. I've been told there is RF and a scart so will this be ok for SNES, MD, or even Dreamcast/PS2? Would the scart allow for composite through the scart? I don't want to pick up and it be useless for me. Will it look horrible?

It's worth checking your local GAME store to see if they have allocation left. They're asking for a £50 deposit but at least that will put off scalpers somewhat. I also managed to snag a pre-order for the Nintendo store this afternoon just incase GAME don't have stock.

I feel kind of bad ordering multiple units but I really want to make sure I get one and I don't really trust GAME as my only source. The NES classic situation has made me paranoid as I had real issues getting one of those last year. If the Nintendo store one arrives I'll cancel the GAME order :)

It's a bad situation really as after the NES Classic anybody wanting to get one is likely to order multiple units from various re-sellers (as I have) which is only going to exacerbate any shortages in the short term! I also think that the SNES mini is likely to be even more popular than the NES mini as the games are much better. Pretty much everyone I know wants to buy one and that includes friends who would normally never buy games or consoles.

Nintendo should really stop making these mini classics limited runs as there's clearly a significant demand for the devices from customers which they can't meet in a 6 month production run timeframe

Should be fine for all those consoles.

Using SCART would give a far better image than RF.

If the SCART socket supports RGB then it's worth investing RGB cables for each system.

Personally I would try and get my hands on a Sony Trinitron rather than any of the B&O TVs. I had a B&O MX4002 but the Sony TV I have now produces a better image than the MX4002.

Either way the SNES, MD and PS2 will look better on a CRT than an LCD. The Dreamcast can output VGA so looks ok on an LCD, but not all games support VGA.

All this SNES Mini talk is just making me finally want to invest in an original SNES console for my collection. Never owned one before but have played a few remakes etc of the big games like metroid and zelda

I finally (after about 6+ years) I got myself a nice B&O 4002 CRT TV for my retro gaming. The TV is a thing of beauty and the picture and sound quality is something else.

Thank you! Think I will give it a go.
