Retro console and games thread

Was actually pricey paid £80, but everything is boxed.

Original Xbox with 2 controllers and 6 games.
Master System II with lightgun and 2 controllers box is mint inside also.
Mega Drive II again mint inside.
2 x Super Scope for SNES
5 nes games
30ish Megadrive Games
10 Master System

Some other accessories

Not to bad When you consider a decent Megadrive II boxed normally go for £30 on the bay - then around £2-3 +postage per megadrive game

Oh the other box beside the xbox is some ps2 game, which is a controller like the wii but for playing golf got it for £2.

Yeah was happy with the find, but went down looking for amigas so I can do some repairs on my own ones!

Really wish I could find my saturn and I really need to get a photo of my whole collection it's getting out of control :)

Plan is to build a unit in my spare room with every console hooked up to the largest CRT TV I can get my hands on with some fancy switching box haha

i have 4 bin bags full of megadrive games, and i tryed to flog them but the postage is more then they are worth lol, they just dont sell on ebay.My advice would be dont collect megadrive games, and collect snes games, they are worth more and are more collectible

that is bascially the truth you make more on postage but that aint bad if you sell a lot ;)

snes have and always do sell well.

And this specially for playing resident evil on, id idealy like a boxed and unboxed example of each console and each of its revisions but we will see how the missus lets me get on with that :D

Just been digging through my old bits, boxed saturn with boxed steering wheel, few games, boxed master system 2,dreamcast, snes...ahhh shame i've got to sell them all :(

Right, finally managed to get round to taking some photos. Still adding to the collection slowly.

Sega Saturn MKII

Never had one all those years back, a few friends had one at school, I had a Playstation. I'm a big fan of Sega Arcades and always wanted a Saturn.
I picked it up in very good condition with Virtua Fighter, Sega Rally & Daytona USA. Just bought Alien Trilogy & Daytona USA Circuit Edition.

It's also hooked up via a Scart Lead and looks fantastic on the Sony...

On the way (Dam Ebay :))

- Saturn Light Gun
- Sega Mega Collection 1 & 2 (Used to have these when I was at school)

Saturn is RGB scart by default, so the colours should look nice. Look at picking up all the 2D classic beat em ups (X Men Children of the Atom, SF2 Alpha, etc).

What have you got plugged in using composite into the front of your TV?

Wow a tinned snes game didn't know they did them back in the day, that's pretty cool.

Like the mention of dazzling 3-D graphics on the snes box, nintendo don't use words like they used to lol.

PS nice collection bud!

Thanks dude :D The tin is a special edition of Super Streetfighter 2, i'm not sure how many they did of those.

The graphics were dazzling back then lol, i can remember playing on my mates snes at school and being awed by the graphics
