£40 for that is good, zelda with it as well, goes for about £10 on its own usually.
Ive just got back into my Retro collection. Might get a Nes sometime soon. Out of intrest where do people buy there retro games from apart from the bay?
good to know i got a good deal then, it was the bundle or a lone n64 and controller for £10 and its less hassle getting the bunch.
im trying to build as much of my collection as easy as possible and although i have had some great buys of ebay ive so far avoided it apart from a couple of gameboy colour games, my collection has been between local pawn shops and car boot sales. using this method has a lot of luck involved as with car boots there is zero comeback if somthing isnt working but its normally easy to tell the genuinne sellers
so far my collection has been;
Dreamcast - local pawn shop inc controller and VMU £10
Megadrive and a couple of games - local car boot £5
Gamecube missing contoller - car boot £4
bundle of gamecube games - car boot £3
Saturn, 2 controllers and a load of games (mint condition, still had the breaker in the battery) - £20
N64 bundle - local pawn shop £40... little secret, i went in alone and asked what the best price was and he wouldnt got lower then £50, a couple of hours later i sent my wife in alone and she got it for £40 with a bit of sweet talking
i think so far ive done OK, the only issue is the power connector on the megadrive is a bit loose but nothing duct tape doesnt fix (may look into it soon) and the controller is a bit naff
im off car booting again sunday in the hunt for a SNES and some more games but i dont think i could turn down a NES or a Megadrive if the price was right
