Retro console and games thread

Just an FYI for any retro dreamcast gamers, you can get dreamcast vibration packs for the pads for £1.85 at the moment if that takes your fancy from the rain forest.

Felt like struck gold today. On holiday so hunting through old games for something to do and found Mario Kart: Double Dash.

Could care less about finding Mario Kart but I had never noticed it had come with the Zelda Collectors disc which has Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask and Zelda 1 and 2 on it!

The latest edition to my retro collection :)

Wow never seen that before, pretty cool.

Got a 32" Trinitron yesterday and got a SNES in the post a few hours ago! All my retro consoles look awesome and theres enough space on the shelf underneath it to have the consoles out of the cupboard. Shame lightguns wont work but thats not a big thing for me.

The Dreamcast keyboard pic has just given me flash backs of playing Quake 3 for hours and hours straight when I should have been revising for my GCSE's :p

edit:
OH! I just had a thought did any of you ever play "Planet Ring" I used to spend hours on that talking to friends and playing the little mini games :D I think there was a mini-game on it that let you use the Dreamcast mic but I never owned one of those :(

I miss the old Dreamarena online days :(

2 more deliveries today, one pretty boring but needed better than the cable that came with the N64, the other though an absolute mint copy of Donkey Kong which only cost £13

I'm too afraid to even open it up to just check to see if the Expansion Pack is in there :o

Composite cable :(

Finally got some shelves in the upstairs room so have been able to get my console stuff out :D Most of it is still in my old mans loft, so will retrieve it and get more pics. Includes loads more rare PSX stuff, N64, Master System, nice SNES stuff and a few more Dreamcast.

Yeah they fetch quite a bit on Ebay now

FF7 was my first real JRPG, after I finished it I looked for anything similar, and my local second-hand shop had Suikoden and Vandal hearts for £9.99 each :D.

Luckily even at 15 I had the good sense to keep the games I really liked and also in good nick. All of the FF's I have owned from new and are mint, luckily the second-hand Suikoden and VH are also mint (don't think anyone really played them in the UK when they first came out).
