I used to subscribe to Official Playstation Magazine. When I finally cancelled, after about 5 years, I had evey demo disk and magazine from issue 1 onwards.

The Ex wife kindly disposed of them before I had chance to save them.

I be there.. Not sure which dorky gaming t shirt I be sporting yet.. But it may have to be my yellow pika one as its currently ban from work.

I was hoping to pick up a pc engine/turbo grafx but cash isn't looking great at the moment so I my just have to stick to playstation stuff.

Bought some ps1 games from estocks, the games ranged from £1.44 posted to about £3.I ordered soviet strike,ET,Midway museam,atari anniversary,rainbow six and nba think it came to about £10. They came this morning but somehow i ended up with a copy of crash bandicoot warped.The atari and midway games say they havent been despatched yet.I was abit gutted the ET and Rainbow six box have crack straight across the front.They are in mint condition aswell which is a shame

^^^ Tempted to get one myself so I can stop using an Action Replay on my PAL version. But I don't understand why they didn't go with the same design as over here and Japan, I think they look a lot better.

Managed to pick up a good Commodore 1200 bundle, just need to get myself a joystick. And finally got round to modding my Saturn this afternoon, will test it out this evening, hopefully it won't bang.

Does anyone use an app to manage there collection? I've seen them about and downloaded a few but the quality of them have been questionable.

I'm just looking for some thing to keep a list of my games on my iPad/iPhone.

retrocollect.com is a good web based way of doing it too

Just possibly got a decent deal on Gumtree for a Megadrive 2 with 14 games but the darn thing only has the RF cable. My tv does have an analogue tuner aswell as dvb but i can't get it to tune in

. Any ideas? does it really need a scart on a LCD or should it work on RF?

there should be a couple youtube videos on this but basically

>set to analogue tuner
> Make sure console is on/working
>Scan RF channels

Should pick up the console.

Thats what i have been trying. At one point i get something that looks like part of the Sega logo rolling on the screen but no clear picture at all.

edit.

Got it working kind of now. Think the RF box has had it, had to put the switch more to the middle to get a stable picture. Sound is a bit hissy though. The control pads are well used though (totaly knackered tbh).

also try with a different game. (and get the RF box switched to Game rather than TV mode!) I recently sold my megadrive 2 for £72 with 24 games lol, intending to do similar with N64 (in members market for anyone interested or trust me)

Picked this lot up for £30 guy was selling on eBay but found out he lived a few streets away. He Is sorting a SNES bundle for me hopefully as well. He was wanting £15 postage , so i thought i would bid abit more to get them if i needed, but i got them for the price i offered him . saved abit just collecting straight from buyer but he couldn't take them off ebay so i still had to bid.

Think i'll post a pic of the megadrive lot i got from Gumtree for £20 now that i know it works ok.

also there is a loose copy of Jurassic Park in the box.
