Well I had 1 hell of a surprise this morning.
Wasn't expecting it till mid-late next week!
So had to dash out and pick up a transformer, also got a multi-end PSU while I was out for another appliance. Got home and noticed that the PSU had the right end, so just used that instead

. Thankfully I checked the polarity 1st, minus was on the inside
1st 2 things I noticed was that the console and the controller and surprisingly light, which was a little disappointing, since it looks like it weighs a ton. Unlike the cartridges....
You could bludgeon someone with 1 of these things!
Despite how light the controller feels, it works pretty damn well, buttons feel weird, but again work well.
Overall I'm very impressed, hopefully the dreams will stop now
Tried to sign up to the 2 major Neo Geo forums, I have a ton of questions, but neither websites have sent me authorisation emails, maybe because I only have an hotmail account, could use my work 1, but would rather not.
Hope you have very deep pockets for the better games

is it a JAP console ?
Yep, it's a JAP console.
I am hoping to start a collection, at a very leisurely pace, I am not paying £100+ for a game.
I'm hoping to pick up a MVS convertor, for cheaper games and to also pick up 1 of those 160-in-1 carts.
But I do love the AES carts, the boxes are fantastic, big and sturdy.
