Played via VGA box to SLG 3000 (scanline generator) on my 40" Sony LCD, looks fantastic!
I love my Dreamcast still play this much more than most my other consoles. I would love to own that game too, looks awesome. Can you point me in the right direct for one of these VGA boxes? What's this SLG3000? I take it that it creates the retro feel? Does it work with other consoles?
Hi guys, i been a bit quiet in this thread so I though i would post my latest exploits in retro gaming!
I finally completed my NES RGB (well Famicom RGB to be precise!) Install was a ball ache but finally got the board in and the pallet switch wired in and the AV Connector points soldered in.
I must tell you, when i first switched the machine on i was genuinely gob-smacked by the picture quality. It was pixel perfect. I am really enjoying playing through all my old NES games now in RGB. Best mod i have ever done on any machine!
WOW amazing job there, amazing. The picture looks so much better than the crappy composite output. I recently sold my childhood NES and games because I can't get into the 50Hz PAL versions again and the image quality was just YUK!
I would still like to have one though, that NES/Famicom mini looks nice and with that RGB mod I wouldn't say no have getting one at some point again. I read that fitting the RGB is a real big job, you must have surgeons hands to solder all the necessary points!
Looking to buy a Mega Drive 2, how much is a fair price now adays?
