Retro console and games thread

I wasn't pricing as to sell it on, more the sort of prices you'd expect to pay buying individually. At the end of the day price depends on where you buy from, the area you live in and how long you are prepared to wait.

I've learned that when it comes to retro gaming, patience is key to paying low prices. Buying everything you want quickly means more often than not paying eBay prices. Whereas waiting and looking everywhere you can save you money.

Also being prepared to buy large bundles and selling them on individually to cover the cost of keeping a few items yourself is another way to keep costs down, sometimes getting stuff for free.

If all the games included are games you'll play then it's a decent bundle for the price. Even without knowing what the other PS2 games are.

Yea that all makes sense mate ill have a think on it for now may just be looking on impulse really!

Did not realise naughty dog did a megadrive rpg! Rings of power? Looks pretty bad :D

Windwaker arrived with the bonus disc ocarina of time. Sadly the GameCube failed to arrive. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Not sure if I want an hdmi port, will be doing the JPN to US switch, that's possibly it till I see how much I actually play them.

I also found these items too.

Snes multi tap for 5 player bomberman

PS1 multi controller adaptor

Dreamcast fishing controller for Sega Seabass fishing game.

Keep hold of those bad boys

I might sell them on because they are just gathering dust, I rather it go to a good home where it is appreciated.

Or send them to me with that PlayStation 2.;)

Hahaha sure thing but I warn you I will forget to pack them in :D

Wish I could find stuff like that in my loft!

Deffo keep them sealed!

I do plan on keeping them sealed, also I don't have the gamecube any more as I my cousin took it.

Nice! i;ve just nabbed a copy of Wind Waker for the Cube from the bay. It will be my first ever Zelda game *blush*

Enjoy! Although I prefer the Oracina of time.
Oh I also found this in the loft too.

My first Zelda game too. Got the bonus disk with Ocarina on it, which I started playing last week.

I don't think it's embarrassing. You either grew up with NES then SNES or, in my case, Master System and Mega Drive. If it was the later then Zelda games would've passed you by.

After the Mega CD I went PlayStation 1 and 2. The kids had an N64 and GameCube, but I only ever play Mario 64 and Sunshine on those systems. That was only when they got stuck. I was too busy playing online FPS games on PC to bother with consoles in the early 2000's.

Wanna swap lofts? I've got a couple of limited edition dead spiders and a broken clock.

I really should go have a better look, could be anything up there!

Seems like a wonderful magic loft full of valuable items lol!

I think I got lucky that I kept some stuff over, I binned a lot of stuff over the years. The one regret is that I did have a fully working clear pocketstation but it was thrown out by mistake along with a load of various bits and bobs about 10 years ago.

I would have taken you up on your offer until you mentioned spiders lol

You should have a look you never know what you may find. I did find a box of some VHS tapes and in the collection was a certain "Cindy Crawford workout" lol

I only dug stuff out like that because I was looking for my old PS1 analogue controller for Barmy. I still haven't found them yet so who knows what other treasures are up there.
