i think that due to space the the c64 is going
shame really but nowhere to store and other consoles are more important

Danf sold my platinum boxed mk dd game cube with soare pad, game memory card, never used. Only went for 51 quid://

It seems a shame to split it but you would have been better off selling the game separately. The console would have went for about the same and you could have got £15 for MK.
Back in the day you could trust auction listings to find their price but not so much anymore.

so i have had one the classic mini nes's on preorder since they said they were doing it, but now im thinking is it not better to put £50 onto a old nes? the only downside being the games such as zelda, these are investment consoles too

Well looking around the usual places it appears no where is taking orders anymore due to high demand. People are just anticipating there being no restock before Christmas I guess.

Can someone remind about 'the deal' with SCART cables? Some are 'proper SCART' and some aren't? How can you tell the difference? I'm going to get a cable for my Dreamcast.

I'm pretty sure vga is the best bet for dreamcast. Although i'm pretty sure scart is more convenient if you don't have a tv with vga.Although maybe not all games support it.
Also just because a scart cable isnt fully wired doesn't mean it can't do RGB. For example the official Gamecube scart cable isn't fully wired but most definitely puts out RGB.

I'm already running VGA to my monitor (plus proper speakers, which is nice) for most games but some don't support it which is a shame!
I'm putting some of the collection up for sale
Although all is not as it seems:
The clear case is Tomb Raider: Revelations
Metropolis Street Racer also has Test Drive Le Mans inside
Virtua Fighter actually has Headhunter disks inside
Sega GT also has Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 inside
