Retro console and games thread

test drive le mans....what a game that was! DC is still a fave console and mine is set up on my 32" on desk as a permanent fixture :)

I fear I'm going to get boo'd and hissed out the thread for asking this.

Can anyone recommend a decent Scart > HDMI kit? Quickly running out of room in the living room and may need to get rid of the CRT in the corner.

The SuperGrafx was the PC Engines successor and NEC's answer to the super nintendo. It never really took off due to the fact only 6 games were released for it.

I have one of those, still have many games many of which were unopened and theres more than 6 mate. I have about 15 games including Out Run Rtype etc

I have sat at home in a wardrobe a brand new smash brothers pearly white gamecube boxed and un-opened. any idea what it would be worth ?

Thanks, Paul.

Last one sold on eBay for £200. But didn't look like the seal was intact, so maybe yours might fetch more if it's sealed. So after fees and shipping you'd clear about £170.

Expect to get less than that selling anywhere else.

You should post the question in the MM in price check ks really.

One sold yesterday on eBay for £277 posted. You will be hard pressed to sell it for anything close to that elsewhere to be honest.

I would be tempted to hold on to it though, I can only see it gaining value.

There were only 5 or 6 SuperGrafx games released for it.

However, it could also play regular TurboGrafx games.

That's assuming they paid. You see a lot of stuff go for more than you think they would. Only to see it relisted and go for the going rate.

Maybe, but how often does that really happen. The one that sold yesterday had 3 unique bids over £199 not including the £26 postage. At least one of them has to be genuine :o

I wouldn't recommend listing it as an auction anyway as prices are so volatile nowadays. If you do sell it on eBay stick it as a BIN for £300 inc. and reduce the price periodically until it sells. No point letting anyone have a bargain.

I've been on the look out for a "region free" Playstation to play imports on. My PS2 plays imports, but I have a lot of nostalgia for the PS1 start up logo and sounds so picked this up today for £15

All the games are complete, MSG even has the Silent Hill demo.
