Return to Sw:ToR

Removed old authenticator and added new 1. Game downloading as I type.

Looking forward to trying it out again. Haven't played it since about 3 months after release.
 
Really enjoying these first couple of hours. Story feels like a single player Dragon Age game but I imagine the MMO aspects will be more apparent shortly which isn't a problem of course. Any opinions of Marauder vs Juggernaut? I'd usually go DPS in RPGs but I quite like the idea of tanking in MMOs.
 
I may be tempted back in. I enjoyed the original release of the game but the subscription put me off eventually.

The authentication app stopped working on my phone as well.

I played the 'Imperial' side too - are there many things to explore out there?

Indeed the F2P on SWTOR is simply awful. And even if you spend £20 even get the initial 3 months sub, when that expires you are stuffed. Less money, less rewards, stuck to 2 characters, cannot wear all gear, no access to half the game.

At least TESO you buy it, and thats all.

I play both games, and TESO keeps more to it, because open world PvP at Cyrodiil, no restrictions to the game (you get the DLCs either with sub or buy them), better graphics and bigger game to explore and do things with people.

SWTOR is nice, but as was said, is become more and more single player game unfortunately. The KOTFE you meet not a single player for the first chapters, and all of it is solo, with tedious solo repeating at the end.

Ofc SWTOR has Starfighter battles, and that is what keeps me to it. :)
 
I thought I'd have another look after not playing for ages. When I logged in it just immediately told me i needed to buy an expansion or subscribe to get past level 50. I thought it was all free to play?
 
well your mindset is wrong. it is the only online game i have ever cheated at. why would i lie about that? it was only done because if you got every class to max level you could get all the buffs for every class and the game wasnt different enough for each class. with the class quests alone you wouldnt even be close to the level you needed to be to do the quests on the next planet. the game was/is just too linear. i did level plenty of characters before i cheated. only one to max level and he was the only one i actually used. excuses all irrelevant i did cheat but i thought id explain why. played a ton of MMOs before and after it.

was a good game when it was sub based and i was subbed for atleast the first 6 months and to see the operations have not changed since they added one after the original lot is very disappointing.

Because cheaters lie, its one of the big things about cheating! to be a cheater you also have to be a liar, not only to everyone in the game, but even more to yourself, by cheating, and when they end up doing well (i.e decent score) they convince them selves they doing it and the cheat they using is not really helping.

So in-case you missed my point cheating is ALL about lying!!
 
You are right. I lied. At the time I was playing alone but everyone who came up against got dealt with by a cheater and lier.

So because I cheated on that game that means I am a lier about everything? You telling me all liars are cheaters?

I understand your opinion and tbh I feel the same about a lot of things that go on in real life ie. Drug abuse, smoking, drinking, criminals.
