martin (driver) got out pretty much unhurt and Lee who has over 100 stiches also made a full recovery

gumball entry prices have gone up by a silly amount so i can't see the escort doing the gumball again

the most extreme road legal cossie would be this one one unless you mean road car spec ie.full interior etc??

i also forgot to add no nitrous was used for the power figures on this engine.

fronts rims are 9x18 with 235 40 tyres -brakes... 380mm brembo 8 pots
rearrims are 10x18 with 265 35 tyres -brakes... 330mm brembo 8 pots

Unbelievable machine, any ideas on the total cost of it all?

And for the record, yes I know I'm dragging this up again, but THAT'S what I call an achievement when it comes to an engine. Getting 70% of the power of a Veyron with a quarter of the capacity, a quarter of the cylinders and a quarter of the turbos is nothing short of awesome.

don't be so stupid,we both know the Escorts engine won't last more than a few thousand miles.....and that those power claims are "lunatic rantings from a back street tuner that have no basis in reality"
we both know it's IMPOSSIBLE to produce 100BHP/cylinder for any length of time......why??.....err because certain members are convinced those are the facts.

you and i both (rightly) stated RE:Veyron what is and isn't a major acheivment when it comes to useable power outputs and @IMHO all of Martins Cossie powerplants are just that.

perhaps Messrs Crofter+Matt82 would like to throw their respective opinions on the Reyland's figures??

@Ish....sorry mate i didn't phrase my question properly,what i meant was what was the most extreme Cossie that Martin has done for a customer...purely for Road use.

as many of the members will verify it's rare that i'm speechless....but i look at that thing and WOW.
black rims and a black paintjob and that Escort would look like Satan's company car.
 
please tell me martin has called top gear and asked for a go round the track, iirc clarkson is a bit of a cossie nut, so im sure he'd let you outdrag some supercars when tis built for muchos fun :D
