Pretty sure it's a creative decision as opposed to being censored for TV etc.

I re-watched the uncut episodes and yeah made a nice difference, I have to admit on the 3rd viewing Rick and Morty is just brilliant, each episode is unique and good its not like family guy or other animated shows which gap fill or just have plain rubbish episodes, Rick and morty is done overall well !

They have. Episode 1 of season 3 is out and the rest of the season is release in early September.
