Its Single Turbo 2.5l About 280bhp(I Think) But is only RWD and does not have the fancy AWD/AWS computer gubbins that the GTR Has...

Had a feeling that was only RWD, as it was drifting quite a bit aswell unsure weather or not he meant it, although it didnt look like he did.

...

I still wouldn't expect a Civic which has 200BHP and is FWD to be going round the outside of a 280BHP RWD skyline on the corners. Is the Civic a lot lighter than the Skyline?

dont forget, that just because the skyline(r) is more powerful on paper, doesnt make the driver better.

It could have been driven by a 90 yr old nanny with miopa, and the Civic my Jason Plato.

A car is only as good as the driver.

The Guy driving the Civic was really quick, his car was slightly modified but he really knew donnington and it showed on the Video, as the day showed the lighter the car and more experienced the driver the better you will do.

If it was the red or the silver civic they were both being driven by members of Option... The red one was being driven by Sak Nada owner of Option UK... Not sure who the other one was... Not sure who was driving the Yellow R34 but i am pretty sure he had never driven Donnington before so his lines were all over the place and also the R34 is a Very heavy car which makes it a lot harder to drive on a windy tight track like Donnington...

The chap in the Yellow R34 had several Skylines there, he even attempted a sneaky garage take over when Spie was out on track - lol

Some guy with him was running an R33 GTR with 500bhp at the wheels

The Skylines were universally pants round Donington. They could have had 2000BHP, it wouldn't have made any difference to their poor cornerspeed. Ask the guy who was really motoring in the Civic Type R ;)

Top speed just after the Dunlop bridge in the Radical was an indicated 124MPH. No idea how accurate that is.

Would be nice to take this porker out on the track, but i fear for the tyres on it, it Seriously needs some new ones. Roof down blatting would be great.

Once the TVR is back, and I get the engine played with some more, I think I will try a day out ;)

The Radical made the rest look like they were standing still, nice and nippy with a nice noise...

that Zeus was awesome too, wonder what the cost is..

If your on about the silver one he also had huge breaks. :)

I would agree about the skylines though- that track is a bit too twisty for them. There barges aswell :)
The best bit was the Xr2 coming round the hairpin lap after lap with the 911 turbo still trying to get past :D
Got past him in the end though then he came into the pits and turned his engine straight off

The Zeus had a carbon firbe body- must have been mega late.

Si

That video was cool. It's quite amazing to see just how fast and how well the radical handles, especially into the corners. It was good to see just how good that was when the track became a bit clearer in the later laps.

It should be spot on as it's a digital signal from a wheel sensor on the O/S/F. it's ready and waiting to be used with the Pi datalogger ;)
