Was at misses parents place where my nephew (23) in law was asking for money and when "no" he gets in a half like a 12 yr old. Starts just messing around with stuff to annoy his gran and then he starts kicking the door doing out side and kicks one of my car seats..

I tell him to F off, he asks if i have a problem etc and up in my face asking for a fight, so i nutted him and then a bit of a punch up follows

No major injuries but now he is demanding the money he wanted or he is going to the police..

I did think he was going to start a fight when he was in my face as he has a violet history/crim record..

If the police were involved what would the likely out come be?

(obv there was more swearing but no need for it on the forums)

You are safe. Don't worry about it. Assuming you don't have serial rapery on your record, of course.

I've never been in trouble so i'll wait and see if the police do turn up

How mature. A fine role model for your children.

Yeah i know but sometimes you do things without thinking, this was one of those times for me, not proud about it either

I don't know, taking other factors into consideration such as his invasion of your personal space, being verbally threatening and provocative with his behaviour, combined with the knowledge of his dodgey past; I would probably identify with this as being self-defence.

I doubt the police will be interested in a domestic with no evidence so I think you are safe.

Just walk away from the idiot in future, he's not worth the hassle.

If he stated specifically that he was going to do you harm, or you felt threatened because you thought he was going to do you harm then a pre-emptive strike would be classed as self defence in my book.

Nutting somebody however is what thugs do.

Police dont do domestics, couple of good friends are cops and they always get called out to events like this, to which they get there, say grow up and walk off, cuz they canna be bothered, go nut him again and say call the police they will do sfa
