Fairly quiet at the moment, let it get dark and ive got the feeling its going to be a different story, channel 4 revealed BBM not shut down, but there using a diff app which is hosted out of the UK to chat now apparently.

All this fuss by the activists and protestors over "police brutality" at the G20 demonstrations has left them afraid to touch anyone in case they loose their job again.

The streets are filled with muppets just wandering around watching whats going on, just waiting to get hit in the head by a police barton and end up screaming police brutality again.

rubbish. the police beat loads of people but the only ones they got in trouble about where the INNOCENT people. its pretty obvious that these kids are not innocent and i can't imagine anyone whatsoever would shout 'brutality' if a few take a beating. infact most people would love to give that beating. they are not ian tomlinson an innocent man , they are scumbag thugs

anyway... go to any football match in any town/city on any weekend and you will see police charging people with horses , using batons , restraining people , arresting people by force.

Is it too tinfoil hat to think that the police are protesting a little tiny bit themselves ? i reckon i would in their situation ... why should i endanger myself if my wage was about to be frozen and some of my fellow colleagues where about to lose their jobs

anyway we are not there , we do not have the full picture and we are not trained in police riot tactics. maybe they genuinely are doing the best that they can with the numbers that they have. it was only really early on when they could match the rioters man for man.

Good to see the police finally showing these little ****s that they can't do anything they want.

The youth of today is mindless! I don't understand what goes on in some of their pea sized brains

Weren't you also whinging about the bullet Bin Laden recieved?

Do you actually believe what you are saying, or are you the kind of person who just can't help playing devil's advocate.

Give me strength. I just wish do-gooders were put in the same situations as police and military personnel. Then we could watch them tumble from their high-horses.

Bin Laden? No, I don't recall whinging about that. Quite the opposite. I said that I fully understood why Bin Laden was shot, because he's exactly the kind of person you wouldn't trust an inch. He could reach for a pickled gherkin and I'd blow his head off.

So... Your point?

My personal view is that anyone caught with a weapon gets to take it with them for an all expenses paid fortnight in Helmand province.

People "just" rioting get a fortnight in somalia, drop them at one side and tell them their plane is the other side of the country. Now chop chop off you guys trot you dont want to miss your plane

That you obviously have issues with gherkins when in fact they're awesome.

agreed

Not seeing much of that over the past few days though :(

1:53 in that video onwards.

The full video is kicking around on the net somewhere. Yes they ware outnumbered 2 to 1.

but if they had charged at them in full riot gear with batons drawn and beaten the **** out of them, the kids would have ran back. They only charged the police when they saw they were scared and retreating.

Some won't know any better due to upbinging, and other will just be along for the ride, once they've had a good few kickings by the police they will learn who's boss.

It's eerily quiet round where I live, there are usually more pedestrians and cars down a busy road I live on. People are just staying in tonight even though the riots are nowhere near me.

i know it's a bit off topic but given all the trouble thats happening around london, manchester and such will the weekends football be cancelled?

what will happen is your gonna see the citys beeing protected by football fans lol

:D

Maybe everyone has realized oh **** the England v Holland game got cancelled because of the riots, better stop or the premiership games will all get called off. I can imagine a lot of the rioters are football fans as well, hopefully they realize what their doing.

Here we go

perfect example of what i was talking about

Thread is full of muppets crying about police brutality.

The kid was in a mob throwing missiles at the police. WTF does he expect to happen to him :/

is it? I haven't noticed any mention of police brutality.
