LOL @ people writing in complaining...as if that has ever done something lol...why even bother??, its not like anyone is really going to listen or do anything about it and neither will she lose her job because fact is that her article has just given the Daily Fail a massive boost in the popularity stakes.
Anyhow not that i agree with what Jan Moir said in her article...i just laughed as its quite possible for someone healthy to just pass away...its not the first time its happened nor will it be the last but the fact that such a big fuss is being made over a person who sang at one time is frankly whats wrong with this country.
But its a pretty shoddy article in all honesty...as no one really knows what 'really' happened with Gateley...all we have so far is that he died as a result of fluid on or in his lungs.

And the bloke her comment was made to didn't care so everybody decided to care for him.
The facts are; Gately was a celebrity on a night out in spains gay tourist scene (which has a higher drug usage), he had been drinking and there was two additional gay men in the apartment when he died.
Saying all that, the media are experts at digging up dirt to make money, the fact there's no evidence to the contrary probably means he died of natural causes.
Although, I challenge anyone to admit the first thing they thought of was natural causes when the news first came out.

Quality? Just an excuse for a pseudo-intellectual to bash a Daily Mail writer, seized upon rather too eagerly by the look of it.
Both articles 'preaching to the converted' anyway.
Just another pompous bore spending too much time on his Thesaurus writing an article that won't even be remembered come 4pm today. That goes for this Jan woman thing as well. I'm surprised people still buy newspapers. If I wanted to read a blog riddled with pseudo-intellectual babble signifying nothing, I can google one. Saying that, I do think it's nice this writer stuck up for the singer, it's just, who cares.
