I believe that cocaine use can lead to acute chest pains?Pulmonary oedema can occur due to a forceful knock to the chest can't it?
So far as I am aware, the evidence is not in the public domain; are you aware of somewhere that we can do as you suggest?Go and read the evidence ...
I think that the question that people are asking is whether any part of his lifestyle may have led to the sudden, unexpected build-up of pulmonary fluid in someone of his age.... he had a pulmonary oedema, which yes is very rare in someone of his age, but not unheard of, as has been mentioned by dmpoole already. His lungs filled up with pulmonary fluid, and that is the only thing that killed him.
Is pulmonary oedema the medical term for 'drowning'? Lungs full of fluif. Is that not drowning?

It is yes, its what killed my Grandad, in his case his body was unable to clear fluid out of his lungs and it basically slowly killed him. He technically drowned. My grandads heart was basically not able to pump fluid out of his lungs.
your heart doesnt pump stuff out of the lungs
your lungs are just unable to expel the fluid..I'm sure I read that technically if you get you lungs full of water, you can actually get some oxygen from the water, but after that you cannot get rid of the de-oxygenated water so you actually suffocate through lack of oxygen, not because your lungs are full of water
Pulmonary edema (American English), or oedema (British English, Greek οίδημα), is fluid accumulation in the lungs.[1] It leads to impaired gas exchange and may cause respiratory failure. It is due to either failure of the heart to remove fluid from the lung circulation ("cardiogenic pulmonary edema") or a direct injury to the lung parenchyma ("noncardiogenic pulmonary edema").[2] Treatment depends on the cause, but focuses on maximizing respiratory function and removing the cause.

Usually the jokes appear always at the same time at the reports of the death.
Jacko has plenty within hours of his demise, perhaps Gately was just either loved by folks, or they don't care towards him at all.
Not being odd or anything, but I haven't heard a single Stephen gately joke yet. Usually the jokes appear always at the same time at the reports of the death.
