What happened to the Cervelo? Are you replacing it with a Pinarello Dogma or something?

It was replaced in April with a Scott CR1:

Yes, I remember seeing the thread at the time. Hope you've done something with the steerer by now ;) How has it been so far? Are you loving it?

I finally got around to adjusting my saddle this morning; it's amazing what difference moving it forwards an inch has made. It makes me think that I really should get around to getting a proper bike fit.

Alright guys, posted a while back but since then I took my Fuji Classic Track back as I was unsure about it.

Just noticed http://www.paulscycles.co.uk/products.php?plid=m7b65s6p3679 while browsing and seems a really good price, but I'm woefully ignorant about the components.

Anything else similar quality for the price?

If you want an entry level ally framed/carbon fork, I love my Felt Z100- Wiggle have them for £400 to clear at the moment (rrp £675, I paid £520 ish a few months ago)

EDIT- Ignore, sorry , looks like they're all gone...

Need a pedal wrench. A tonky one. Any recommendations? Is the Park PW-5 up to the job or do I need to splash out $$$kerching on the PW-4? Not keen on Icetoolz. Any experience of the Super B range?

Damn, just took a look and you got yourself a deal, oh well:(

Allen keys? It's a 15mm open spanner fitting!
Some pedals also have an allen fitting on the inside of the crank arm.

Cant you just use a 15mm spanner? Get one much cheaper from a local diy store and its uncommon these days to find any pedals that it wont work with.

Ah yes, of course they do. So do mine. I forgot I'd also nearly twisted up an allen key in the process :D

It chewed up my Halfords Pro 15mm Spanner so I have to take it back to get it swapped. I think it needs a black steel wrench (case hardened) with lots more support round the head to stop it opening up. It's well seized in there.

So, had my bike stolen last night from picadilly station in manchester,

my own fault really the chain i used was a cheap cable one and it was a cheap bike so now i have the excuse looking to buy a better bike and have just gone and bought a £45 d-lock from edinburgh cycles and a £30 chain (and bought a padlock)

noww i just need the bike, ideally max of £150, fine looking into finding second hand just models or brands to look for as my old bike was an 80s raleigh racer i know nothing about them really

its for riding ~30mins to uni each way every day and an hour each way to work on weekend

also any further tips on not getting my bike robbed again aha?

Picked this up today:

Plan was to turn it into a 'fashion fixie' for my brother's birthday but im not so sure now. It's a lovely bike in very good condition, seems a bit of a waste to strip it down. :(

Looks too original to me. Fixies are best made from frames missing other stuff like the wheels and handlebars. That one looks like it's got loads of period accessories that belong with it.

I am determined to get the Bob Jackson finished this weekend. It has sat in the back room doing nothing for far too long now and I need to ride it.

Woa, *nearly* caught my fingers in the chainring on my fixed gear while spinning it round

Another update from the Jonny69 blog :p
