Currently looking at either a Fluxient U2 Mini or Torchy BK500....personally want a light to quickly swap between bikes and not a seperate battery pack.

Anyone got one of these?

I was the same as you not wanting a battery pack so bought the fluxient. Blew my old cat eye out of the water. I only commute 10 miles a day but one charge lasts long enough for a week of flashing on the way to work and solid full beam on the way home in the dark. Lights up completely dark country lanes more than enough.

Anyone had any experience of ordering from Bike-discount.de? I know they are meant to be decent but anyone here had issues or great service at all? Thinking of ordering these

I ordered a Shimano 105 groupset from them recently. The emails were partially in german, they ship from germany (so a little slower) but parcel was well packed and tracked. I'd say my experience was positive and would probably use again based on the price.

Good to know. Thanks. Only saving £25 over CRC price for them so might just stick with CRC. Anyone got a 10% voucher for CRC? :D :p

Ack. The R5 has gone :( Wasn't easy watching someone else man handling my girl and then watching them walk away with her.

Now they will be out getting all sweaty doing long and tough rides ontop of her...

:o

I *may* get out tomorrow weather depending! down to one bandage now on my hip which is pretty badly bruised. Thinking some movement will help free it up rather than going all stiff.

The chap that bought it came down from London. He runs a cycling club and was really friendly and enthusiastic about cycling. We spent a while just talking bike shop. He absolutely loved the R5 seemed over the moon with how much better it looked in person and the superb condition of it and I can tell it's gone to a good home.

Londoners can probably expect to see it doing laps around Richmond Park soon :p

what did you sell it for ? what group set did it have on it?

A good chunk of cash ;) I sold it with Dura Ace C50s and had full Dura Ace 9000 gruppo but no pedals. Gone miss her.

Weather tomorrow looks pretty good. You should do the 50odd mile loop I sent you. Grane Road and Roman Road are good long climbs.

Just going back over that.

Navigation over that distance may be an issue, but I'll see where I get to.

The Belmont road is closed about 1km from Belmont due to road repairs, I had to turn around there on Sunday.
