For those with blade spokes, check out the pic in this thread. You could probably get the reflectors to go on but it'll take a bit of bending. Should stay secure though.

My local one's Tyldesley and they've got loads left.

Also, I picked up these overshoes last week and I can't complain. My socks do end up damp but I'm not sure if that's from sweating or what. They stop puddle splashes instantly soaking my shoes anyway.

I'm just up in Atherton, so I'll pop into Leigh or Tyldesley and try this evening.

ok how stupid is this, rear frame has the bolt holes for the mudguards, front does not! MADNESS!
looks like it's the crud ones after all.

I replaced my rear guard with a rack for panniers, does the same job but allows to carry panniers for shopping. The front guard is smaller and just goes into the brake mounts.

Tried some of the Aldi stuff out this morning, it's pretty good!

However getting up at 5:50 to bike to work it not good.

Anyone else have massive trouble biking in the morning? Normally I'm pretty good on the hills, I'm a little bit of a hill natural (within reason), but pre 9am I absolutely suck. It's like my legs are made of wood or something, they burn and run out out of energy really quickly, my hr sky-rockets and I feel sick. It's annoying as I'd love to bike to work, but there are some pretty mean hills (10-12%) in the way which cause me pain.

Do you eat before setting off?

I tend to achieve some of my best Strava times first thing in the morning when I set off for work at 06:00am!!!. :)

I usually have a couple of Weetabix with Banana sliced into it before heading off.

hmm if i decide to cycle to work (depending on how long i would ake me to get ready and actually get there and then put my work clothes on etc, i recon i would need to leave at 4:30am :(
