Cheap as possible, something like this is probably your best bet:

I won't order anything from a seller with poo in their name. The light will probably be ****

I cut the 2nd loop short a bit because darkness was approaching and I didn't take my lights. The ride to work tomorrow is going to be interesting...

I've been invited to do a ~70K cycle next week, and need every advantage I can get
I'm currently using a hybrid from halfords (carrera subway), can I buy road bike tyres or do I have to buy new wheels as well?
Some impressive times on there!
what are the best cycle lights for seeing where you're going at night?
i.e. to avoid potholes etc. i got ones so i can be seen at dusk but not powerful enough to be any use other than that.
i've got a catseye rear one from halfords that does the night rider thing so just need a front.
see lux rating and reviews etc but they mean nothing to me. rather listen to real experience.
by night i mean - unlit country roads so you can't see the sides of the road.
For £35 or less you can't really beat this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180984494...eName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Was that on Moor Road? Hard right bend then up, bending left, emerging from the trees with a view over the reservoir on the left? I did that climb yesterday and felt like I could die! We all had a good rest on the flat bit before pushing on. It's one of the hardest climbs I've successfully completed.

Are they 38mm?
I have a Boardman Team Carbon with SRAM Rival although i think the cassette is a Shimano item.
)Looks easy enough to change a cassette (with the right tools).
There was no flat. NONE OF IT!!

Gorgeous decent down into Hartington though. And I haven't been to Bakewell in years so it was really nice to have a look around. Found a nice little tea room for some carrot cake!![]()
