It would certainly be a lot more convenient than a pannier. Just not as pleasant in summer![]()
Attempted the notorious "Rake" in Ramsbottom. Got halfway and walked the rest. My companion made it up, so well done him.
nice one sherlockA proper road wheel with a disc mount will probably be very expensive.Source a new front wheel that's able to take a disc brake (any suggestions???) and a front disc brake and lever to make a fully fledged fixie with front disc brake for winter (n+1!).
Thoughts?
my BBB Arctic shoe covers arrived today, and these must be heavy duty, they feel much better than my other ones i bought, so i put them on, they fit better and my feet felt warmer too, so should be good for Sunday now
oh and i got my "proper" pedals on now, an tips for using cleats?
been trying to get in and out of them for 30 mins in the shed
I've got a bit of a crazy idea for a new fixie (n+1).
A Pompino Frame (either purchase the frame or the Pompino bike)

Change the front fork to a Pompetamine to take a front disc brake.
