Nice! What did you go for in the end?

I've been waiting for stock of the 2011 Cannondale Super Six Ultegra to arrive in the UK since January. I popped in to my LBS this morning and have been told that they aren't expecting a delivery now until June :(

They have to be the worst company in the Universe for supplying stock to the market - goodness knows where it's all going :(

Ditto! Am still waiting for a S6 105 after being told there was one in stock in January LBS were told, "Oops, that was someone else's stock, err your's wont be available till June!"

Same happened last year with my RZ120, was told Dec, then Jan, then May. Turned up in April!

Great bikes, pi$$ poor availability, LBS have had 2011 Trek & Scott since Nov! Scott CR1 Ultegra with Ksyrium Elites for £2399 is very tempting...

My CR1 Pro frame arrived from Switzerland three days after ordering. Loads of stock.

Just waiting on FSA Omega Compact bars, Gore Rideon gear cables and a BB86 and then I can get it built for this weekend.

You will be photographing the build I hope :)?

Depends if I do it nor not.

I've found a mobile cycleshop near me who will come round and build the bike up in my garage one evening.

If I do the build then i might find that it's not finished in time to take it out on Sunday (wife and child mean I'm not completely the master of my own time).

Got very excited when saddle and seatpost arrived yesterday.

Correct me if I am wrong, is the CR1 Scott's 'Sportive' offering? I think it has a more relaxed geometry than the Addict doesn't it? So from that perspective, you're really not comparing like with like.

The Cannondale counterpart of the CR1 would be the Synapse I think.

CR1 sits inbetween the two; it's head tube is 1cm shorter than the Synapse and the top tube is 5mm longer.

The Synapse is even more sit up and beg than a Spesh Roubaix. CR1 is more like a Six Carbon.

I know Liquigas rode the Synapse at Paris-Roubaix last year, so it's definitely a more compliant ride ;)

To complement my Epic

Quick hour spin this evening, feels perfect and a lot more responsive. Hell of a lot lighter too. Best thing done to it was changing the Saddle to a Specialized Phenom elite ti, and adjusting the reach on the handlebar. Wheels are nice too.

By the way - wheels and tyres were from Ribble, took 3 days to arrive at my door. :)

Amazing what a set of nice wheels can do for a bike!

Fitted a set of kysrium SL wheels to a Felt F4 yesterday and it felt the real deal. Bad part is he got them for £450 :@

I wish you hadn't posted that, janesssssy. It makes me hate my Carrera Subway 8, even though it's entirely adequate for my 7 mile daily commute. I hold you responsible for any resulting purchases of bicycles :p

Just did a deal to buy a full carbon Dolan Seta track bike from a guy on lfgss (some on here might have seen it in their for sale section. Pics will come after i collect on Saturday. Haven't decided if i want to buy the carbon wheels as well, or stick with what i've got and maybe buy some deep rim carbons in the summer... mmmmmmm.

janesssssy - your bike looks awesome

Thanks! need to ride it more than im doing, but still enjoy mtb and spend more time riding that. Plus the weathers getting better so more mountain biking.... But im sure I can squeeze 3 - 5 hours a week on it.

Right I have one more purchase to make: cycle computer.

I'm so tempted just to splash the cash and get the Garmin Edge 800 because it will be useful for touring which we're doing in summer, but even I am loathed to spend that much money.

I'm not *that* bothered about cadence, but I obviously need speed/distance/elevation, and I'd rather a better history option then the ubiquitous Cateyes seem to have. I'd also like to be able to sync it to my Garmin profile like I can with my Forerunner 205.
