Sadly there's not much competition in Harrow so it seems that's all i've got on offer. I did ask about sizing too in my email so hopefully they'll help me configure it for me too.
 
just received 3 merino base layers for planet x.... £45 for a vest, t-shirt and half zip jersey. Love merino, I get 1 days commute out of a synthetic baselayers , merino I get three at least without it stinking.
 
Here's my current road bike when I built it up originally in 2008, essentially the same 3 years later. Only changes are the stem is flipped, steerer is cut, black cages, different saddle and different wheels because I trashed those in a crash.

The frame and fork cost me ~220 quid brand new.

So today I finally managed to get stuff to fix my inner tube, and did so, tested inflation, no holes, all is good.


So I then begin the arduous task of actually reassembling the wheel. I tried everything to get the tyre back on, for well over half an hour. Eventually succeeding with the aid of two ikea flat pack spanners....

Upon re-inflating, I discover my hash of a job at assembly has created another puncture...

Haha, its such a horrible feeling when that happens.
Last time i did that, i was struggling for ages with some cheap crap tyre that i had. It was so much hassle getting it on then i tried to pump it up and found i'd puntured it with a tyre lever putting it on :mad:

Didnt bother to try and lever it off, got a big knife and cut it off in a rage :D
 
Eeee my northern breathren you'd be proud of me. Today I managed Gillet & Arm warmers. Turns out 2 pairs of socks wasn't enough though...

@6th Thats a beautiful bike, what frame/fork is it (you might have said but I'm lazy :o)? I really would like to do a self build but don't really have the balls to spend lots of money and then end up (probably) making a botch job..
 
Looks like an unbranded chinese carbon frame.
There are lots on ebay (but a lot more expensive now than they used to be).
The one 6th has looks like the same mould as a ribble sportive.
You can also get ones that use the same mould as Cervelo r5 and Pinarrelo dogma.

I had my chain come off on the way to work, luckily it was as I was going downhill so it wasn't disastrous. It seems that my chain has stretched quite a lot after I cleaned it on Saturday, I guess the sheer amount of crap that was on it was stopping it from stretching.

At least I was wearing gloves and so didn't have to get grease on my hands. So bloody cold...
 
It's a blatant fake. One of the more vocal members of cyclechat.net bought a fake Dogma, it was pretty hilarious when he realised he'd been had.
 
I was using "vocal" as a euphemism for "annoying & dickish". I'm pretty sure he got his money back from the seller anyway, so I don't feel too bad about what I said :P
 
I'm not really that much of a *******, despite the fact that the guy really does get on my nerves ;)

I think it's okay as long as it's made 100% clear that you're buying a fake/"replica", though. People by Toyota MR2s and put Ferrari F40 body kits on them, after all.
 
Stuck a longer seat post in my Bob Jackson. It's added about 100g to my bike but it's SO much more comfortable to ride! I might step up the gearing a bit now I've got a bit more reach.
