I think the opposite.

I've noticed. :D I see your point though but I'm far to disorganised to manage that. I can barely remember to battery cycle my Mac's keyboard & touchpad before they run out. I don't have a chance adding a bike light into the mix too :p

Hey guys

Nice. Did you have a full fitting while you were there?

DB Fit (or what ever its called)
i ddnt no

He said i didnt need it, at the moment, he said ride the bike first (being as im new to all this road cycling/Racing) for a while then we can make adjustments as needed like cleat position etc

Anyone seen these:

My first thought was to scoff but the more I think about it they could be pretty handy for those café/pub stops on the social rides.

£15 to protect something that costs £15 to replace... I don't walk enough to warrant it but if you're part of a club/group that stop for a social they're probably dead handy.

Nice, the colour schemes on specializeds are always quite handsome imo and that's no exception.

im suprised no one has mention anything about the pedals yet :p

i have crap plastic ones on "for now" untill i get used to the bike, then in the new year when it starts getting warmer (or maybe before)i will put my new pedals on

so in the end i bought :

Bike
2 bottle cages
2 Bottles
Pedals
Shoes
2 spare innertubes

Rest i had already :

Garmin GPS with cadence and speed sensors
Bike Pump
Tyre Levers
Sadle Bag

Next thing i need is a Track pump !

I picked up a spare Joe Blow Sport II from Halfrauds for £23 on Monday as they are doing 25% off accessories then got 10% british cycling discount on top.

Edit: Just checked and they've now bumped the price up to £37.99 (£28.49) in basket. Cheeky.

Why is this such a bad thing? :p

I've seen a few people mention it now.

It's there to stop your chain jumping into your wheel and wreaking havoc. If your rear dérailleur is properly adjusted that shouldn't happen. It could happen if something hit the chain and bumped it off, but I don't know what the numbers are on that happening purely by chance.
