Been out on my new bike, only about 30 mins, used the drops straight away! big head wind today, makes a big difference from riding on the hoods

taking a while for me to get used to the gearing as im used to my MTB Thump shifters!

As i was rining, i glanced down at my Garmin, and it said like 20 MPH i couldnt belive i was going THAT fast! if i was on my MTB id be doing atbout 5 ! lol

Smashed my PB today on the way home with an 18.2mph average over the 12 miles commute! Love the slight chill in the air at the moment!

Are there any London based OcUKers that want to go on a (casual) ride some time? Preferably when it's dry as bare carbon melts when exposed to water!

Ben has been brilliant, he always answers my questions, he got one of the Tech guys to fit my Garmin GPS on the bike for free and gave me free pedals to start me off, Sigma service is brilliant, you always see tons of cyclists down there, they are very popular, and the advice is always good advice and will offer to help on the phone etc

Ah, fair enough.

I must admit that very rarely get out with KW; having young kids doesn't give you much chance to take half a day off to ride. I need to book a while in advance if I want a pass.
