Quite mild tonight. Got out for an hour and did a bit over 15 miles. I went past one of those things that reads your speed and it flashed up at 30 which was quite satisfying

so anything else for around 300 mark? :) i need the bike READY by 1st of November :)

I'm looking at ebay etc but i can't seem to find much :)

unless decathlon gets more in stock i can't see my self ordering from them online again, ill try picking up in shop - i would need to ride back home which is not a problem, will they set the bike up in shop?

Got a couple of KOM's (my first) today, one on the way into work and one on the way home. Only "minor" segments but nevertheless....got to start somewhere! :)

I posted earlier to say there's a triban 3 on sale in Kent on eBay. Is that too far for you to go? Forgive me if that's a silly suggestion, but I don't know a thing about geography in that neck of the woods.

There's two actually, in Essex by the look of things.

First full commute today in the cold since my car wouldn't start. It's a message really and I need to keep it up I think.

Stuck on some Castelli Diluvio overshoes before leaving work to help with the cold, felt like a black porn star stuck with slim fit durex. Once on they are easy enough to slip on and off when taking off the shoes so thank ****.

yup looked at it! sadly the frame is too small :o having no luck lately!

Just looking back at the ride I did... Strava seems to think I was cycling through a row of back gardens, so it hasn't logged a segment I did. Lame. Stupid iPhone GPS.

Mine did that constantly. I sacked it off in the end and got my Garmin.

Give this a try to fix it. It never worked for me but it's worth a go.

Really really getting into cycling now...so much so I bought myself a new toy!

Compared to my Cube Peleton, it's epic. The lightness, especially the wheels make so much difference! I didn't think it would be that big.

Said commuter has a new set of trendy mudguards, and I'll be commuting on that pretty much everyday, rather than only only nice weather days ;)

I've spent a crap load on some more clothing, including a Castelli LS jersey, which is amazingly comfortable and warm. And a Castelli Espresso jacket is on backorder with Wiggle too. Should keep me warm in the coming months :)

I will admit it's a bit 'in your face'. I'm sure the frame designers just had a laugh for how many times they can put their logo in different places on the frame!

What do you mean about the seatpost?

Since taking that photo, I've lowered the bars on the stem, as it felt a tad high.

I know nothing about bikes really but the seatpost looks like it's from a TT or triathlon bike, ie more rectangular and aerodynamic, rather than a normal bike, ie completely round.

I'm assuming it's just to be more aerodynamic but at first I thought it was a TT bike until I saw the lack of aerobars. Tho I'm pretty sure that's what the Brownlee's rode in their Olympics tri as well?

Nice bike.

It is just one of the "aero" models that most manufacturers do now like the Canyon Aeroad or Specialized Venge. Watch out for the crosswinds, it'll be like a sail!:D

I quite like the Cosmic stickers on the carbones, but I still wonder if I should remove them to go for the full stealth look. I do agree that Chris B seems to like having his name everywhere though!

I do like it. But you've stolen my black/yellow theme! :( :p

But got to agree with comments about the branding. If they just removed the MASSIVE cboardman on the down tube it would be more appealing imo :)
