I've been told I'm wearing some Altura night vision gloves now lol. My boss wasn't keen on the smell of my hands using my Castelli Diluvio one day in day out for the last few weeks. They start to smell disgusting, washing them didn't seem to help.

Not sure I like how chunky these ones feel compared to the slimmer fitting castelli.

Gave me a Gp4000 to replace my, not even that old, Gatorskin that decided to get a big bubbe of tube out the side one night.

Fingerless gloves with a mesh back wont do much to keep your hands warm!
have a look at PlanetX 4 seasons bundle:
summer gloves, autumn gloves, winter gloves + overshoes for £30.
I got a set last week and i'v only used the winter gloves so far, but it seems like quite a good deal.

I didnt want winter gloves :) not cold enough yet, but i have some wind proof gloves i can wear over the top if i need to anyway

but thanks

Nice one. You'll be surprised how quickly it becomes routine. After a while it won't even tire you out any more.

hopefully! i do like to get some extra exercise into my daily routine, this will be perfect! :)

Triban
but i said TB for short :D

oohh! thought so lol! :) yeah love the bike, really did not expect it to be this fun :o

A bloke spoke to me this morning while I was locking my bike up.
He said his wife had rode to work yesterday for the first time in months and when she came out there was only a front wheel left.
The stupid bint had only put her D-Lock round the front wheel :D

I'll bet she had a quick release skewer and everything.

I'm kinda looking forward to moving base (if it ever happens) so I'll have a longer route to work.
I doubt the guys I'll be sitting next can say the same!!

I've done 13 miles each way Monday to Wednesday this week on the commute, will be in the car tomorrow!
Just give it a go one day, see how it goes.

I got out this evening to test my new light. I was very glad of it when a diversion sent me off dark roads I barely knew onto dark roads I didn't know at all. It's very bright, but I am looking forward to getting my wide angle lens to get a broader beam rather than lighting my brake cables and the sky.

Ride wise... It was a beautiful evening. Nice and warm, though there was a nasty headwind on the way home. Fortunately the cheap jersey I got at Aldi the other week is surprisingly wind proof - hurrah!

Vonhelmet exactly which one did you buy again?

Im on placement just now and cycle 6 miles each way to work

Upon moving back up to manchester next year im looking at living much further out from the uni, £20 a week cheaper for some places and the longer cycles a benefit, plus less bar/club distractions is always good for 3rd year!
