That's fine... If it stretches too much you can just remove one of the links in the chain.

odd, when I ride, when the back set gets to half way and I need another gear or so , I put the front one into the big ring to avoid the stretching issue
ive always learnt never to go small to small or big to big, always keep it straight as much as possible

its not to do with stretch, more to do with chain wear in general, chain wears faster

centering the chain when you can is always best

80 lumen. I'm running the Brompton with a 70 lumen TraceR and a 70 lumen Redeye.

God knows what anyone thinks of my 100 lumen District Plus....

I wanted the flouro commuter road version and had £30 amazon vouchers so paid £129.99 in the end. For the same version cheapest I found elsewhere was Evans for around £135. I think the black version is potentially cheaper elsewhere too.

Man down. Me.

Going round Old St Roundabout 20minutes ago and the front wheel on the Brompton slid out from under me. Road rash to forearm and hand. Helmet smashed. Bit sore round my upper body.

Pride badly bruised.

Ow.

It will wear faster I'm sure but I swear I've read somewhere that making a conscious effort to avoid cross chaining will only save you around 30 miles in terms of wear.
