I'm going to get out tonight for a 20 miler all being well. Can't be out too late as I've got to be up around 5:30 tomorrow to get down to London - JOY.
Bought some dhb Aeron Pro last week and wore them on Saturday.
Didn't think they had anything over and above the other, cheaper, shorts I have when I first put them on but they were still comfy 150 miles later.

Done to death no doubt but I need some bib shorts for the better weather. Got Castelli Velocissimo Bib Tights for the now/colder weather and very happy with them.
Any pointers for some bib shorts - most of the bib shorts from Castelli seem over £100 minimum.
dhb Aeron Pro Cycling Bib Short seem to get great reviews at reasonable price (£67)
Thoughts?

I swear my bike hates me. Since Christmas I've had to replace:
Rear derailleur
Headset
Front chain ring (was quite heavily worn, one day the chain managed to skip off the front ring over a speed bump and jam in the chain ring because at some point the pin that's meant to stop this happening had snapped off)
Front derailleur seems to be screwed - refuses to return to inner chain ring
Then today on my way to work the front shifter manages to get stuck when I try and trim the front derailleur, so I now have the lever stuck at a ~40 degree angle pointing towards the front wheel.
Icing on the cake, on my way home there's a loud bang - my rear tyre had blown out and I discovered the rear wheel has some play allowing a few mm of lateral movement. Lovely 3.5mile walk home in the rain followed.
Last year I barely had to do anything with it, just a new cassette/chain and some fresh tyres.

Bought large and they fitted fine.
I want some chain cleaner for my park tools tool. Anyone have any suggestions?
I have a pair of the dhbs and liked them at first but they are my worst bib short I own for long term comfort.
Assos S2s from the assos outlet are by far my favourite for £90!

Looks like a good route. You'll have to take me out that way some time.
Bikes require lots of maintenance.
Unless you are proficient with tools and preventative maintenance I would suggest paying to get it serviced.
Just sucks that it's all come at once, especially when this bike is being replaced in <2 months :-/
