as I have continental GPs on my summer bike, I like them, so wanted same again but a little more protection, hence why i decided on 4 seasons, also club recommended them too

They're great tyres - good grip and low rolling resistance. They just tend to wear out quickly. Not a big deal if you're not doing 1000+ miles per month though.

1000 a month !!

not sure what im doing come to think of it, maybe 60-100 a week , just in winter, then change bikes, then 60-100 again

Looking forward to my own bike tomorrow. Loved using the Valenbisi bikes in Valencia but it was like riding through treacle with those foam filled tyres!

Also get to use my dhb winter gear for the first time!

Lets see peoples Email from strava distances are

i am assuming its since I joined strava..

on the email...
mine :

Your 2014 so far:

Total distance ridden 2,494.5 mi
Total elevation climbed 82,762 ft
Total cycling time 170 hrs 18 min
Number of activities 124

What emails are these? My strava account is tied to my facebook account, so I don't know if they even have my address.

Anyway. I've hit over 3000 outdoor miles and about 60 trainer miles. I'm hoping I'll get to 3200 or so outdoor miles by the end of the year but once it gets properly cold or icy I'll just turbo until things improve.

Kind of annoying that I didn't record the very start of the year but heyho. Hoping to hit 10k miles this year - it will be a bit touch-and-go though.
