I'm going for 25mm next time around, have sort of patched up my GP4000s for now, as they had some side wall splits where my brake was aligned incorrectly, hoping they'll last the winter tbh! Mileage starting to go up again now, aiming to have a nice month or so of easier sessions then the week before Christmas I'll get my subscription to trainerroad sorted and planning to follow the 40k TT plan and see how I get on!

There's always 23mm in stock at my local Decathlon so I've just bought them.

I'm tempted to try the 25mm though to see if I notice a benefit, especially in the winter.

I'd be interested to hear how you get on. I imagine youre the same give your mileage, but I tend to burn through tyres quicker than most of my friends so saving a bit of cash on them would be nice for me :p Alternatively, justifying my previous purchases of 25mm tyres would make me happy too :p

Half an hour on the turbo tonight. Pretty meh, but hey, I couldn't get out as the mrs was out, and it was raining anyway. I imagine it'll get icy soon as well and then evenings will be a definite no no.

Super annoying journey in this morning. As usual, the bad weather brings out the worst drivers making the most risky manoeuvres. Even with me going slowly/carefully I had someone nearly take me out. Also had some idiots open up doors into a cycle lane without looking. I couldn't stop in time (wet floor) but luckily I managed to mount the kerb.

Hate seeing cyclists with no lights on. They're idiots.

Agreed. But joking about running people over is also pretty idiotic.

edit:

This sounded like a massive gimmick at first but it also sounds kind of fun.

Thermal jersey and new rucksack from Wiggle arrived today.

Tempted to order another skull cap while the discount is still on. More orders = more Haribo.

yeah I've been thinking of smashing the mirrors of cars that get too close, just to teach them a lesson ;)

D locks are great for that. Just take a big swing as you ride past and you'll take the whole unit clean off the car.

Everyone should carry a frame mounted D lock, even if it's just for self defence purposes.

Those Lezyne Macro Drive I saw on ebay for £31, sold out, he's re-listed 3 this morning, 1 sold already, I've now decided to buy one and there's only 1 left !!
nice and cheap :D
