My Carrera TDF can fit 28mm knobbly tyres and mudguards. The downside is it's a Carrera TDF and weighs about 4 tonnes.

Haha true, my Carrera Virtuoso 2011 weighs 12kg, my Giant weighs 8.5kg!

well on the back it says for REAR
Flash 1
Flash 2
Solid
OFF

Yeah but have you actually tried changing the rear to off with the front still working? ;)

I'd be surprised if it doesn't work to be honest as they do a handlebar mount for it :)

If you find out where/how to cancel - please let me know!:D

Just cancel your DD.

^^ This! I've emailed the 3 different publishing companies mentioned in all the letters and had no responses. I'm going to ring the phone number mentioned in one of them as a last resort before cancelling the DD. ONCE MY LIGHT ACTUALLY ARRIVES!

It took me a while to get used to bib shorts. I wouldn't be without them now! Even the mrs has stopped laughing at the sight of me in them.

I've only got 1 pair of bib shorts and only worn them once! Last summer I wore non-bib DHB shorts and I'm quite looking forward to wearing bibbed! I'm buying more as I really thought there would be good deals on them this time of year... Some deals are ok, but not quite the amazing deal I hoped to snap up! (cheapskate I know!) :p:o

A few people comment at work, but starting before the majority and finishing after them too really means I can avoid them! Then again I guess being one of the younger male members of staff (and one of the few who isn't overweight) means the comments I get are mostly appreciation from the older women!

My mrs likes me in lycra, it didn't take long for her to get used to me in it! She calls my bib-tights 'bodies' :D

Oh god....I keep my bike in my office next to my desk instead of leaving outside which means I have to stagger through my office in all my gear. The first time I did this I almost got laughed out of the building. Years have gone by now and nobody mocks anymore, but, it took months to get to that stage! haha!

Same here, although I this the ladies in the office quite like the sight of me in the summer!

awww these castelli shorts are smaller than my DHB ones.. need to get an XL

well they fit ok, just feel that the parts that go over your shoulders are too short, and I feel they are too short, but once on and I stand fully they seem ok??

stick with them - I was in the same situation with XL and XXL, changed to XXL in the end but they are slightly bagger around the waist and wish I had stuck with XL instead despite being slightly tight on the shoulder straps.

done some research and your probably right

my DHB shorts are in Large, all my Jerseys are Large too

I will try them on again to be sure, but the shorts part fit perfectly ok, I know these are race fit, so will be slightly tighter than my DHB ones, just the straps are tight, I feel like im going rip them, but get them on over your shoulders and are ok, they aren't designed to be worn standing up anyway

yeah, I saw it last week too, but that guy behind him, he's a ninja

So is the guy that swerves away from the bike about to land on his head!

Nasty fall, any idea how the road debris threw the bike up in the air like that?! Or how it ripped it out from under him!

As you mentioned you're going to be sat down and hunched over for the most part. If they were too loose then the chamois could move out of place.

Mine definitely feel very close fitting though they are the 'Aero' variant. I don't feel I have much leeway but a size up would probably present problems in other areas as mentioned.

As I have no experience of bib shorts I don't know if the material for the straps will give a little over time for you?

My Castellis feel tight on the shoulders every time I first put them on but after 10 or so minutes they feel fine.

Ciao Tutti!

Back in the UK (again). I need a new bike. My other half said to me when I showed her the Cervelo I was eyeing up "Your not a pro, what do you need the best bike for?". She's right :( so I'm looking for something decent but modest. Any bargains about?
