Ah i would say that is definitely it! I didn't realise someone would use them with SPD pedals...mainly because they would get chewed up within a few rides...oh wait...

Cycling home last night I noticed this gigantic hole next to a drain cover. It would have had me off straight over the handlebars I'd imagine.

Do you guys bother reporting any pot holes? The council around here seems pretty good, i've reported 2 potholes on their website and both got filled within a few days.

That is exactly what I need to do. TBH I make longer rides a chore by doing them non stop.

The small lever on my left shifter doesn't seem to want to return to its normal place after I shift down to the small ring. Most of the time it just looks out of place but doesn't cause an issue, occasionally it will cause the lever just to swing over when I try to shift, I guess because it hasn't engaged the mechanism? I can just flick it back manually but is there a known issue and fix for this? Sora 3500 if that makes any difference.

I've just reported that one. Considering it's part of the same council that was responsible for this one that resulted in a death and it's a very similar pothole they should solve it quickly though that road does appear to have quite a few reports for similar location already with nothing done.

I reported one before on a red route in West London. Richmond Upon Thames Borough Council and TfL kept passing it back and forth between them - even telling me to send it to TfL instead. However, it did appear to be fixed within a week.

Ooohhh... So that's why you see the Castelli toe covers getting ruined. These people using SPD with road bikes! I'm sure that's against a rule somewhere

That's it. Coll des Reis is a great climb but I almost prefer the Coll de Femenia, nice and sheltered on the way up and a lot of fun back down.

Nice work. Really wish I hadn't put far too much effort in up the first climb to lluc now. I'll be back. Altho want to go elsewhere next year. But thinking maybe goong away in October if can find anyone to head away with.
