Awww man. That's beautiful. Etap and 404s!!!!!

Also, the 25mm 4000s II wouldn't fit on my propel, fouled against the brake cable. How close are yours?

Thanks, with the Fouriers there's about 7mm clearance from the brake cable.

Final day today, absolutely spent myself trying to beat my time up sa Calobra, but just didn't have the legs. 50s but only 2w down from the other day, not bad after a week of heavy riding. Accident on the way down some kid had gone into the back of a car following too closely, ruined my descent time, would have been top 300 if it weren't for that.

Saw Wout Poels at the petrol station by Lluc, so bagged a picture and had a quick chat, nice guy who I didn't get to meet last year.

Went up the back of Puig Major, proper emptied my legs! And struggled back to Port Pollensa, for a well deserved one of these.

Looking good! Wout Poels seems like a nice guy. Cracking rider too!

Is that a fluo yellow Gabba I can see?!

I was thinking that :S

What jersey is it? What are the temps like over there right now?

Can't remember to be honest, some lightweight one. High Teens, although not as nice today with rain due to come in.

Going to pop out for a fairly slow 50 in a moment - need to burn off some of the beer and pizza from last night

Hopefully about an hour into the ride the hangover will clear...

Some excellent improvements in time! You've definitely inspired me to go!

Great improvement, I wish I had the fitness to be able to climb that much :o

You've got the bike! Going to be labelling you "gear" soon! :-P

Aye, I have the bike but not the time unfortunately. The weekends are the only time I can get out, would love to be able to get out more as I really enjoy time on the bike.

That's some impressive riding SoliD. I think my legs would fall off with that much climbing in one week :p

Lovely day out and took it fairly steady for an 18.2mph average. I think my hangover is gone now.

It's not quite spring yet but I couldn't resist trying out my new wheels today. The 90mm front handles very well in winds considering its depth. The disc looks, sounds and feels fast... until you start climbing! I know people say wheel weight doesn't matter, but I could notice the 1.2kg at the back.

I've noticed a slight problem, I can't use my granny gear as the rear mech cage touches the disc. How do I fix that?

Need to dial in my bar and saddle position too, it didn't quite feel optimal.

They're getting there, nice easy week to work and back this week. Need to spend some time sorting my tt bike for next weekend!

Ah, need to make the time! Hopefully now the evenings getting lighter.

Dropped an email to wiggle about my bike and next steps to look to get it repaired and got a response back already. They want a picture of few areas and bike as a whole. Might send them one of it at top of sa calobra... :-P

Is the hanger straight? That's the first thing to check as it's quite easy to knock a derailleur and bend the hanger towards the wheel.

Probably just an incredibly unlucky run. That said, are all of the tubes the same? Very unlikely but maybe you got a dodgy batch?

I repaired both of mine tonight. Road bike it was as expected, tiny razor sharp stone. I think I may have to ditch the Lithion 2's sooner than planned as they can't cope with the debris on the country lanes.

My plastic Kenda's on the hybrid remain unpenetrated  as my slow leak was caused by the valve tearing away from the tube. Tube was over 5 years old so I'm not too fussed!

Well, there's bad luck and then there's.. really bad luck.

Today I punctured *AGAIN*, about 80km into my ride. I know what you're thinking - clearly this guy doesn't know how to install a tube or there's dirt/debris/something lodged on the tyre...

Except today I had a different wheel on, that's done around 1000km on that tube/tyre with no problems. To make matters worse it was my 90mm wheel, and I'd only brought one 80mm tube with me, so had it happened again I would have been in trouble!

I don't even feel like riding now, I swear a curse has been put on me

Wow! Thats more impressive than your times up the climbs!

That descent scares me with the tiny wee walls which would do nothing to stop you falling over the big drops if you hit them.
My time for that segment includes several photo stops but even if I went flat-out I doubt i'd get anywhere near your time!

I must thank you guys in here for getting my cycling motivation back by the way. I was lurking a lot before posting more regularly, and you've really helped.

Looking forward to getting out next weekend! Got some stuff to sort before then sadly.
