Yeah, I'm hoping to set a precedent with on time delivery :), I'll let you know in 3 weeks!

Well that didn't even get to the 3 weeks LOL

So, Canyon have already told me there is a delay, so cancelled, as i'm not prepared to wait that long as I have already sold my bike.

I have found 2 bikes available locally ridden both and quite like them both.

Anyone had any opinions on these: Both Tiagra 4700 groupsets, but i need something now and can always upgrade if I feel it's needed.

Trek Emonda S4
Giant TCR Advanced 3

I plan to go and get one later this afternoon.

Cheers

I doubt there's much in it to be honest. If I'm not mistaken, Giant manufacture the frames for Trek although the frame is probably designed by Trek. Both have Tiagra groupsets so it's a matter of the other bits and pieces.

so, it's probably down to Giant Black or Trek Black, which looks Brown to me :)

Might see if there are any sweeteners the different LBS will offer me.

My Garmin lost signal today during a race.

Uploaded to strava but it only shows the 8km with GPS data.

I still have time, speed & power data for the full 2 hours which I want to see. Is there any way of just uploading this without the GPS?

Try fitfiletools. Worked to correct my issues this week. Carried out a full reset and worked perfectly fine this morning.

Terrible night sleep last night even though I was exhausted, had already planned to go out with some guys I used to go mtbing with regularly. As I'm quite a bit quicker than them now I decided to ride fasted.

Thought after an hour I'd struggle to get round. But woke up a bit and enjoyed 2nd half of the ride once it had warmed up,as quire hazy early on. Going to have a harder longer ride tomorrow! Hope the weather stays like this all weekend!

My May target of 1,000km & 10,000 metres of ascent was completed last night.
19 days of after work rides, haven't managed to get any weekend rides in pretty much all year.

Pleased with the average speeds for the month of 18.5mph.

Super smooth ride like no other bike I've ridden.

Great ride yesterday, but my god it was hot!

Question for you guys. I seem to spend around 40-50% of my rides at threshold HR, for example on yesterdays ride i was at threshold for 1h 20mins on a 2h 40min ride. Compared to other guys i ride with this seems like a large amount of time at threshold compared to them. I've never done an FTP test, the HR zones are based off my Garmin data for the last year. Is it a case of trying less on the flats so i'm at tempo more often, or what can i do to raise my threshold so i'm not so flat out for the majority of the ride?

Some examples below:

Frame fork 270
210 for bits and bobs.
30 for fixed cog and lockring
Stem bar tape 35
Bullhorn 67
Pedals 30
Wheels 150 plus tyres 60 tube 10
Cage 5
Sorry about that mess on the phone.
Grand total of £867 about 40 quid more than the pre built cinelli gazzetta online with inferior spec. :D

Yeah was only concerned with pressing the headset. Hammering the crown to the fork and hacksaw the fork.
I bet it wouldn't be this hassle free with a geared bike though! Thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless.

Does anyone have experience servicing a single-speed rear hub? It's an Ambrosio Zenith hub which I think is a re-badged ********

It's making funny noises which suggests to me maybe the bearings need changing. However, it could also be the BB making noise.

EDIT: Nova-tech is a sweary?!

Sounds like Rule 9 and Rule 5 need to be enforced big time. Good luck!

It's a competitor.

Was out your way today. Rode a bit of a brute and my first imperial century of the year. 7200ft.

Found a little climb called Smalldean Lane which had a gritty section of 15% average and bits at 23%

Oooofffft that's a ride and a half

Ground my way up that a few weeks back. You came down Kop Hill after Peters Lane, head up that way next time if you dare :p
