The owner of that bike must be taking the ****. Must be.
Yeah. Who would put mudguards on carbon wheels?

Met just posted this looking for the owner... What are the electric cables at back doing? And mudguards on those rims![]()
Function over form I'm all for but that bike is something else![]()
the colours are weird but the rest is fine?
Guessing that he has a dyno on there. Is that built for some form of long distance audax/transcontinental with all the gubbins I can see?

I can't see where he has a dynamo tbh... I think it's just the battery pack for his Cree front light?
To measure the speed of both wheels, obviously.
Just back from my first ride on my new Dolan l'Etape Carbon.... WOW. Compared to my old bike (Specialized Allez Sport) this thing flies. Got a few PRs on some sections I have ridden dozens of times. There was quite a head wind on the return which kept me back a bit but I am very very impressed. Only slight issue is I had to stop twice to fiddle with the saddle height. I am paranoid about over tightening onto the carbon and the seatpost seems to be slipping down gradually over several miles. I have ordered a torque wrench so will get it right as soon as that arrives.
Strava ride is here if anyone wants to take a look: https://www.strava.com/activities/589921133
G.
Get some carbon grip paste as well as that will help stop the seat post from slipping.
