Road Cycling

Had a run out on it yet sdk or are you saving it for weekend? Weather looks ok!
I've just finished a ride but on my Winter bike as it's pretty blowy. I've got to set the correct saddle height, charge Di2 and maybe change the tubes so I'm familiar with the system in case I get a puncture.

Plus, it's so shiny I don't want to get it dirty :p

Had the whole week off and all I've managed to fit in was a cycle back from fixing a car on Monday and 35 minutes on the turbo there doing 10 x 1 minute efforts(I take ages to warm up). The weather is just pants at the moment.

May try and meet the 9.30am group tomorrow and see what happens, should be a crosswind, tail wind and then a crosswind for the home straight but we shall see!

Ended up meeting the bunch in the rain from the start. Lasted most of the way round including the through and off through the fast bit. Overcooked it a little on a minute and a half climb, my boss went to the front and had the bunch lined out and I never quite recovered. I'll be having words on Monday!

I think i have the same frame or maybe 2015 version. However, I am running GP4000s 25s fitted to Fulcrum Quattro carbons. the rims are 24.2mm wide. Not exactly sure on internal width - maybe 17mm and clearance is not an issue. Certainly not on the rear. More likely to be an issue on a narrower rim from what my logic would say.

I've just got a set of these wheels - you had any issues with them at all? Just waiting for their first outing.

Look what landed on my doorstep today :)

Looking forward to seeing you out on it.

I'm possibly after some new shoes - £90 max, all/any suggestions welcomed.

well see above - I'm not trying to be difficult but it's a minefield in terms of one size 46 is hugely different to the next!! I've just ordered various ones and will try them and return at least 2 pairs

So far, I think both the LG shoes are the best ones and suprisingly they are the cheapest.

The Giro ones are £120 and one the surface of it, very basic with the velcro and a single ratchet strap. Very narrow fitting over the bridge of my foot

I had a nightmare last night... I was doing a triathlon... on a flat bar bike... *shudder*
I was joking around with workmates that it would have been funny to see how fast I could have done the triathlon relay bike on one of the Reading city bikes. They had a station on the course.
