Ran over a poor ickle bunny last night and the lass in the passenger seat almost cried... :D

Proof that this forum is useful: I remembered a thread on here from a while ago, so didn't do anything stupid like brake hard or swerve, just kept going and heard a sickening thunk instead. So sorry, no pics of the car in a ditch, but you can have one dead bunny and my thanks :)

I still have to check the wheel arches for any remnants. Might have some stew later :D

I take out double figures most months in the summer. I have MILLIONS of them in the fields around my house and along my driveway. Splat, crunch, thump, duff, Whhhaaaaaa

Ditto above and p(h)easants also in the summer the pigeons like warming their bits on the roads in the morning. Not bad in the car but on the motorbike it has caused a few clenchers.

My mate ran over one before and I nearly cried. He didn't even attempt to slow down which is probably why I thought he was a ****!

I did try explaining to her that I was doing 60 at the time and swerving probably would have ended up with us in a bush/ditch/tree :) I'm "evil", apparently

Weird thing is that all these animals wait until the last minute before running to the side of the road?

Hit a pheasant in an astra van with a ladder on the roof at about 60, didnt think much of it till i got home.

Took me ages to remove all the guts from the ladder :D

I did this as well.

Going round a roundabout and this rabbit starts to cross. I swerve onto the inside lane to avoid it so it speeds up just enough to suicide dive under my wheel. I did feel sorry for it, but then it was stupid enough to speed up :/

My mum hit a rabbit so hard the other day that it punch a fist sized hole in her front bumper :D

tell her it could've been worse, i let a mate of mine drive my car - a rabbit legged it out - he slammed the brakes on, and the locked the front wheels. Oddly the front left locked a lot easier than the front right. Got out, and there was an icky trail of squished rabbit where the wheel had locked on it and dragged.

or smart car vs giant bunny?
