Yeah they seem to have different commentators. For example the gymnastics right now is live on bbc1 and red button 3 and it has different commentators. Sound mix is different too, bbc1 coverage seems to have the louder ambient volume and better overall sound quality.

One handy thing about the BBC streams is they always add markers for any Team GB performances, which makes it easy to find them when looking through a look stream.

Some of the markers are really annoying though

1) Like there is a "live" stream with nothing actually going on for an hour (ie inbetween semi and the final for instance)

2) "Live" streams that havent started yet (several streams Ive checked is just the standard yellow and black logo page with the name of the event). If an event finishes early for whatever reason, fair enough but supposedly the event is not delayed , and BBC have it marked as live, but its not being shown.

Minor things maybe, but should be SO easy to iron these out but it happens daily
 
I'm going to lock this thread, so we can separate discussion in individual event threads. This should save people discussing multiple events in one messy thread.

Also, I've tried to move all historical posts in to their individual threads, which took ages :p
