That I cannot remember but I do remember all the complaints because so many corporate seats were empty for so long each day so they started giving them to joe blogs.

And this was at the Medal ceremony...

Pitiful attendence.

Sure, some would say not one of the "bigger" events, but still.

At London, the qualifying for scratching a bears butt would likely have got a capacity crowd.

They should do last minute sales.

And london was full, bar the corporate bs, full for almost all, and the corp seats they filled with squaddies when the corp toffs cba to turn up.

Also given they are only four hours out, the timing of certain events seems bloody odd.
Starting football matches at 8 pm at night, no one in the united states watches those, asia hasnt woken up, we are off to sleep as it is 12 here and later in europe. Any locals will watch at anytime.
Seems oddly structured.

I can barely watch bugger all. I have limited internet so no streaming and my red button isn't working on freeview. All I have is BBC1 and BBC4. :o

Those were in my guide but I had no signal. I guess it must be my new freeview HD tuner that is the problem because my bog standard freeview was fine.

As for Peaty, that's nailed on 100% gold. No one is getting close to him.

Well I mostly enjoyed the first day of events, some odd judging in the weightlifting, but might just be early as it is their first event, a few athletes coaches should have a word, so the other athletes are not affected in a similar manner.

Road race was certainly interesting, Polish fella almost did enough. Some great archery and shooting finals also.
I do think the timing will hurt over the course of three weeks, as I doubt my aging body will cope with early mornings following late nights so I will miss large parts of the events, and watching on catchup doesn't do much for me.

Anyone thing it is a bit rich of the organising oversight bodies to decide to ban all Russian Paralympian athletes from the games, yet let the big names go ahead and compete?
