Robocain - Robocop 2 robot

Whilst Cain was never one of my favourite characters your attention to detail and patience is just phenomenal.

After seeing models in Forbidden Planet (New Oxford Street) selling for hundreds 20 ro so years ago, considering the work and time you are putting in step by step it is easier to appreciate why they were / are priced so highly.

Personally I would love to see a Games Workshop Titan or something like a Mech Warrior Madcat although the Madcat.

Damn, I am English... I need a shed, a lathe and random bits of metal and wood :D.

Could you mod my hoover to be nitro rc, oh and while your there how about a robotic monitor arm :p you have serious natural talent. May i also say, GET THE HELL OUT OF THE IT INDUSTRY!... you should be an Engineer/Artist, you would make a fortune :)

It weighs a fair amount thats for sure!

Thanks again for the support, its helping me push on.

the M2 screws do for all the joints except the tip of the fingers, these need to be even smaller! down to M1.6, thats 1.6mm thread width, dont want to do too many of these, I keep dropping them!

A while ago I wondered how you'd make the smaller bits like the hand/fingers because I thought they'd be too small to do that way, but you're still managing to do them

yeh, not easy but I am plowing on. Partly the reason I chose to make it this size, so I would atleast stand a chance of doing the tiny bits.

making the hand where the 2 fingers attach

little knuckles, my camera has trouble focusing, I must remeber to keep back.

start of the fingers

just the tips to do and then drill and tap everything. The tips need a bit more work as they have a thicker "pad" than the finger part.
